monströös has produced a series of 2D-animated clips for Deutsche Welle.
The project is called "Tech Attack" and reflects upon the conscious use of smartphones. Each episode deals with a problem such as ghosting, doomscrolling or telephobia.
All 4 episodes are designed for smartphone screens in vertical format and play with these aesthetics e.g. the protagonist suddenly turns into a smartphone game character or finds herself in a whirlpool of emojis. Strongly contrasting colour palettes are used to show different emotional worlds.
