In 2023 we had the pleasure of working on this fantastic project. For a period of time, people would receive messages from 13-year-old Michael Synowzik. In October 1961, him, his father and his father's partner attempted to flee from East to West Berlin through the sewerage system at the corner of Friedrichstrasse and Zimmerstrasse. Michael would send participants messages telling his experiences as he and his family fled.
